Accessibility intent

Cogniprimer aims to make practical learning usable with a keyboard, assistive technology, zoom, and print. The design targets WCAG AA text contrast and clear focus indicators. This is an implementation intent, not a certification or a claim that every assistive technology has been tested.

Reading and navigation

Pages use semantic headings, a skip link, labeled navigation, and readable text widths. The mobile menu exposes its expanded state and can close with Escape. Article contents links move to named sections. All essential learning text is rendered in HTML without JavaScript.

Controls and results

Assessment questions use native radio groups and legends. Missing answers produce linked errors; results are announced and receive focus. Filters keep all cards in the original HTML and report the visible count. Color is not the only indication of evidence or error status.

Print and motion

Print styles remove navigation and keep worksheet values and assessment results readable. Animations are limited to short color transitions, and reduced-motion preferences disable them. Text and controls should reflow on a narrow screen and remain usable with zoom.

Known limitations

Live tool walkthroughs have not been reproduced. Formal screen-reader, cross-browser, and Lighthouse audits have not yet been completed. External product sites have their own accessibility behavior. The contact form is disabled because inquiry delivery and the real public email are still pending.

Report a barrier

When a contact channel is available, describe the page, task, browser or assistive technology if relevant, and what prevented you from continuing. Do not include private records. See contact status. A response time is not promised.
